Your Account page, now with help on every tile

The Account page collects the housekeeping side of 1pm in one place: your subscription, your profile, two-factor, data export, and the email tools. We’ve gone through it tile by tile and added a help link to each one, so the answer to “what does this actually do” is one click away instead of a support email. Two of those tiles were doing real work without a written explanation, so they get new guides.

How your monthly email allowance works

The Email sending card shows a meter: how many invite-style emails you’ve sent this month, your cap, and how many you have left. The new guide spells out what that meter counts and what it doesn’t.

The short version: crew share-link emails, RSVP invites, and reminders draw down your allowance. RSVPs that come back through your public share link are always free and never metered, and so are system emails like password resets. Trial accounts get 200 sends a month, paid accounts get 1,000, and the count resets on the date shown on the card. If you mostly share one link and let people respond, you’ll barely touch it.

The safety buffer on bulk invites

When you invite crew and guests in bulk, 1pm doesn’t send the whole list the instant you click. It holds the batch for a short while first: about 60 minutes on a paid plan, longer on a trial. That pause is an undo. If you realize you picked the wrong list or the wrong event, open Account, Batched emails and cancel the batch, and nothing goes out.

The new guide covers the whole thing: how long the buffer lasts, how to cancel and re-queue, why single invites send straight away while bulk sends wait, and the 100-recipient cap on a single batch.

Small change, fewer dead ends

None of the underlying tools changed. What changed is that you can now read exactly how each one behaves without leaving the page or guessing. The blue help icon on each Account tile opens the relevant guide in a new tab, so you keep your place.
