Give a colleague admin access to your account
A venue rarely runs on one person. The operations manager builds the run of show, the duty manager tweaks it on the day, an assistant keeps contacts and spaces tidy. Until now everything lived under a single login. Account sharing lets you hand another 1pm user the keys to your account without giving away your password.
Invite by email, they work as you
Open Users in the navbar and invite a colleague by email. Once they sign up, subscribe, and accept, they can switch into your account and act as you: full administrator access to your events, contacts, spaces, requests, branding, and custom fields, including deletes. Everything they do happens on your data, under your account, exactly as if you’d done it yourself.
While they’re switched in, a small status pill sits under the navbar (“Working in {your account}”) with an Exit button, so there’s never any doubt about whose account is in front of them. Switching back to their own account is one click.
What stays yours alone
Admin access is for the day-to-day work, not the account itself. While a collaborator is switched into your account, the account-level surfaces are off-limits: billing, your profile and account settings, account deletion, and managing who else has access. They can run your events; they can’t change your card or hand the keys to someone else.
Locked down by design
A few deliberate guardrails:
- Paid users only. Both sides need an active subscription. If a collaborator’s plan lapses, their access stops biting immediately, checked on every request rather than cached.
- Verified email to accept. Invites are matched by email address, so accepting an admin invite requires a verified email. An unverified account can’t claim someone else’s address and walk into full access.
- Revoke or leave, any time. You can revoke a collaborator and they can leave on their own; either takes effect at once.
When you have a pending invite waiting, an alert surfaces across the app so it doesn’t sit unnoticed in an inbox.
Email tools moved to their own section
Tied to the same work: the email tools (sending, allowance, batched invites) now live in a dedicated Emails section in the sidebar rather than tucked inside the Account page. That keeps them reachable while a collaborator is switched in, since the Account page is one of the surfaces sharing holds back.
