Track crew compliance, with a record both sides hold

Venues that vet crew (public liability cover, an induction, signed paperwork) need somewhere to record where each person stands, and proof of when they got there. That’s what crew compliance status is for.

Your statuses, your wording

Define your own status labels under Contacts (“Inducted”, “Docs verified”, “Cleared to work”, whatever fits your operation). Each one can carry its own email text. The set is yours and applies across every event.

Set it per event, and tell them

On the event, pick a crew member’s status and Save. Changing the dropdown on its own does nothing until you Save, so there’s no accidental email. Tick the box and 1pm emails the crew member their new status, with a copy to you so both sides hold the same record.

A history you can stand behind

Every change is logged: the old status, the new one, who made the change, when, and whether the email went out and to which address. Renaming or retiring a status later never rewrites the history, because the labels are captured at the moment of the change.
