Reply to a lead from your own inbox

You already reply to leads in 1pm, and their answers thread straight back underneath. But plenty of replies get written on a phone, between site visits, off the notification email that just landed. Until now, hitting reply on that notification went nowhere useful.

Reply from wherever you read it

The notification 1pm sends when a lead writes to you now carries the enquiry’s own reply address. Hit Reply in Gmail, Outlook, or your phone’s mail app, write the answer the way you always would, and send it.

Your message goes onward to the enquirer from your own sending domain, so they see the same address they have been corresponding with all along. They have no idea it took a detour. Their reply comes back into the thread as usual.

The thread stays complete

The message you sent from your mail app is recorded in the lead’s thread in 1pm, in order, alongside everything else. Anyone on your team who opens that lead sees the full back and forth, not a gap where someone answered on their phone.

Files you attach in your mail app come with it: they are saved onto the thread and carried to the client.

And if it doesn’t go

If the onward send fails, 1pm tells your notify inbox rather than swallowing it, and the failed reply shows in the thread with a one-click retry. A reply that did not reach the client is something you find out about immediately, not a week later when they ask why you never got back to them.
