Auto Reply can send the quote too
Auto Reply answers a new web lead for you when the date is genuinely free. It can now quote them at the same time.
A reply template can name one package from your Items catalog. When it does, the automatic reply also raises a real quote on the lead, expands the package into it, and puts the quote’s link in the same email. Your words, your brochure, and a price, all while the enquirer is still comparing you against the two other people they messaged.
This works because a quote does not have to be exact to be useful. What the client is allowed to change comes from the items in the package: an item saved as adjustable between four and ten hours arrives as a stepper they can move, an item marked optional arrives as a line they can untick, and the total moves with them. They open it, build it, and accept it themselves.
The picker is the switch
Leads, then Templates, then the template a lead type sends. Under Send a quote, choose a package. Leaving it on No quote sends the reply exactly as it does today, so nothing is quoted until you ask for it. Choosing a package that prices per guest warns you, because a per head line with no guest count would quote somebody for one guest.
Worth being sure about before you switch it on: a client who accepts an automatic quote turns the lead into a booking without you touching it. That is the point of it, and it is not nothing.
When the quote is held back
The reply always goes. The quote is skipped, and you get told why, when the package prices per guest and the lead gave no guest count, when the package or all its items are archived, when a quote for that lead is already open, or when your trial has ended.
A quote that does go out raises a bell notification naming who was quoted and for how much, unlike a plain automatic reply. A price went to a stranger unattended, and you should see the figure that day rather than the day somebody accepts it.
