Branding the run of show

By default, your crew sees a clean, unbranded run of show with 1pm's standard look. With a branding theme, you can apply your own (or your client's) logo and color so the crew view feels like part of your operation instead.

Where to find branding

Click Branding in the top navigation. The page lists your existing themes (if any) with a button to create a new one. You can have several themes, for example one for each studio brand you operate, or one per major client.

Creating a theme

Click the new-theme button. Give it a name (required) and save.

You land on the theme's edit page where you set the look:

  • Name. The internal name for the theme. You can rename it later. Only you see this name; crew never do.

  • Accent color. The color used to tint the action buttons (Start, Done, Mark finished) on the crew view. Defaults to 1pm orange. Click the color swatch to pick something else.

  • Logo. A PNG or JPEG up to 2 MB. Appears at the top of the crew view when this theme is applied to an event. Recommended around 400 pixels on the longest side. Transparent PNG is preferred so it sits cleanly on whatever background it lands on.

The name and color save together in one form. The logo upload is a separate form, so you can change the name or color without re-uploading the logo, and vice versa.

Setting a default

You can mark one theme as your default. The default theme is pre-selected on the new event form, so events you create are branded automatically. To set a theme as default, open it and click Set as default at the bottom right.

You can only have one default theme at a time. Setting a new one demotes the old one.

You can also leave all themes un-defaulted. New events will then start with no branding theme and you can pick one per event.

Applying a theme to an event

When you create or edit an event, the form has a Branding theme dropdown that lists every theme you have set up. Pick one to apply it; pick "(None)" to remove branding from an event.

Changes apply right away. If you edit a theme's logo or color, every event already using that theme picks up the new look on the next page load. Crew with the live link open see the new look within a few seconds via the live update channel.

What changes for crew

When an event has a branding theme:

  • Your logo appears at the top of the crew view, replacing the default 1pm chrome.

  • The accent color tints the action buttons on each item (Start, Done, Mark finished). The page stays clean and legible; the brand color sits where the eye lands without overwhelming the run sheet.

What does not change:

  • The structure of the page. Items, times, attachments, and notes all render the same way.

  • The 1pm footer link. Your brand is in the foreground; 1pm stays small and visible at the bottom of the page.

When logo uploads aren't available

In some configurations the logo upload card may show a notice that uploads are not available. This means file storage for logos has not been configured on the server. The accent color and theme details still work; only the logo upload is gated. If you see this on a regular 1pm account, contact [email protected].

Deleting a theme

You can delete a theme from the Branding list. Any events that were using it revert to the unbranded look. The events themselves are untouched.
