Pricing FAQ

Is there a free trial?

Yes. Every account starts with a 30-day free trial of the full version of 1pm, with every feature unlocked, including the Hospitality catering tools. No credit card is required to sign up and no features are held back during the trial. The only limit is on outbound email: the trial can send up to 200 emails a month (crew invites, requests, and reminders), and a paid plan lifts this to 1,000 a month. Everything your crew and clients submit back through their share links is unlimited, even on the trial.

What's the difference between Professional and Hospitality?

Professional is the full event-management product: leads and enquiries, quotes, client confirmations, BEOs, spaces and contacts, invoicing and online payments, the live run of show with crew share links, and reporting. Hospitality includes everything in Professional and adds the catering and back-of-house stack: client-facing F&B menus, an ingredient and recipe library, and food, recipe, and ingredient costing with the kitchen reports that go with them. If you run F&B in-house, cater, or care about plate costs and margins, pick Hospitality. If you don't, Professional has everything else. You can switch between the two at any time.

What's the difference between the monthly and annual plan?

Price only. Within a plan, monthly and annual include exactly the same features. Professional is $20 a month or $192 a year, which works out to $16 a month and saves you $48 over twelve months. Hospitality is $40 a month or $384 a year, which works out to $32 a month and saves you $96. Extra users are $4 a month or $38.40 a year each. You can switch between monthly and annual at any time from the Stripe customer portal and any unused portion is automatically prorated.

Can I add my team?

Yes, through Team access, and each extra user is a flat $4 a month (or $38.40 a year), the same on both plans. You invite a colleague by email, and once they accept they get admin access to your account: building events, editing timelines, managing contacts and spaces, and answering requests, all inside your single workspace so crew links, branding, and history stay consistent no matter who did the work. Team members share your plan, so on a Hospitality account they get the catering tools too. There is no separate team tier to buy: seats are simply added to your subscription, and billing, your profile, and who has access stay with you as the account owner. You can add or remove a seat at any time and the change is prorated.

Can I cancel any time?

Yes. You can cancel from inside the Stripe customer portal any time, before or after the trial ends, with no cancellation fee. If you cancel during the trial, you keep access until the original trial end date and no charge happens. If you cancel a paid subscription, you keep access until the end of the period you've already paid for.

Are there limits on active crew members?

Every plan includes 25 active crew members. Crew is anyone you give access to: staff, contractors, suppliers, or people you are onboarding. Someone is only active while they hold a live share link on an event that hasn't happened yet, or an open onboarding portal, and they count once no matter how many events they are on, so reusing the same trusted suppliers all season costs nothing extra. When they are finished, revoking their link or completing the event makes them inactive again. Above 25, extra active crew are 5 cents per person per day, roughly $1.50 a month each, and only for the days they are actually active, so a one-off spike for a big event costs a few dollars rather than a plan upgrade. 1pm warns you before you go over 25, so it never happens by accident.

What happens to my events and data if I cancel?

Your data isn't deleted the moment you cancel. If you cancel a paid subscription, your events, run of show items, vendors, crew, and uploaded files stay in your account for nine months after your access ends. If you resubscribe within that window everything is exactly where you left off, which is useful for venues running the same annual event year over year. After nine months of inactivity we email you a heads-up and then permanently delete the account if you don't return. Crew share links keep working for the lifetime of the events on your account, regardless of billing status. Trial accounts that never added a payment method are kept for ninety days after the trial ends.

Are prices in USD and how is payment handled?

Yes, all prices are in US dollars. Payment is processed by Stripe, the same provider used by most modern subscription apps. 1pm never sees or stores your card details. Stripe accepts the major card networks plus Apple Pay and Google Pay where supported, and every invoice is available to download as a PDF from the Stripe customer portal.
