Accepting the terms

Once you have accepted a quote it becomes your booking, and the second of the three steps is agreeing to the terms and conditions. There is nothing to print, sign and scan: you type your name on the page and tick a box.

This article covers what is on your booking page, reading the terms, signing, saving the terms on their own, and what to do if you cannot agree to them.

Opening your booking

Your booking page opens with a summary bar across the top showing the event name, the date, the total and the deposit. Click it to open the full booking underneath: the times, the access and vacate window, where it is, guest numbers, service style, the menu, the pricing, and the terms and conditions.

The heading tells you where you are up to. Until the terms are signed it reads Quote accepted, with a small badge saying Awaiting agreement. A progress bar shows the same thing: ACCEPT ticked, AGREE and PAY DEPOSIT still to go.

Reading the terms away from the screen

Two buttons at the top are worth knowing about before you sign anything:

  • Terms (PDF) saves or prints just the terms and conditions on their own. It is there before you agree as well as after, so you can read the agreement properly, or send it to somebody else to read, without agreeing to anything first.
  • Print / Save PDF saves the whole booking, terms included.

Signing

Scroll to the Agree to terms panel and click the button, then:

  1. Check the Signing as name. It is filled in with the name the booking is billed to. Change it if you are signing on somebody else's behalf.
  2. Tick the box to confirm the details are correct and that you agree to the terms.
  3. Click Confirm booking.

The page stamps who agreed and when, and prints it back to you at the bottom of the document, so the record of what you signed and when is on the page you can always reopen.

The terms you agreed to are kept exactly as they were on the day you signed. If the business updates their standard terms afterwards, your booking still shows the version you actually agreed to.

If you cannot agree

Click Decline terms, say why, and send. The business is notified and will be in touch. Declining does not cancel your quote, and nothing is charged.

After you sign

The payment section appears under the terms, and the badge changes to Awaiting payment. That is step three.
